Verify report

Check the origin
of a report.

Use the report ID. With the checksum (SHA-256) you can also compare the file.

Enter the report ID.

The checksum is optional and only needed if you also want to check the file itself.

The report ID is on the cover and at the bottom of every page.

If you also want to check the file, choose the PDF. Your browser calculates the SHA-256 itself; the file never leaves your computer.

Only needed if you have the checksum but not the file to hand.

What you get to see.

Report is genuine
You see the domain and the date the report was issued. If you also entered a checksum, you see whether it matches.
Checksum matches
The file has not been changed since it was issued.
Checksum does not match
The checksum does not match any file issued under this report ID. The file may have been changed.
Unknown report ID
No report was found with this ID. Check for typing errors; only reports issued after this feature launched can be checked here.
Invalid format
This does not look like a Wexlo report ID (format WXL-YYYY-MM-DD-...).

A matching hash shows that a file has not been altered unnoticed. It says nothing about whether the content is correct, and certainly not that a website complies with the law.

Who this is for.

A client, an auditor or a market surveillance authority holding a Wexlo report can check here whether it is genuine. No account and no login are needed.
